My aunt has scabies, What are scabies? How do you get rid of it? and does anyone have a picture of them or it? - picture of scabies on heels
Scabies is a skin disease caused by a mite (like a tiny insect) called Sarcoptes scabiei causes. The female mite burrows into the skin and lay their eggs. The mite eggs hatch after a few days. Most symptoms are a skin reaction to house dust mites
Scabies is a curable disease. The usual treatment is permethrin 5% cream skin absorption. Permethrin is an insecticide that kills mites. If you do not permethrin, an alternative use is a lotion called malathion 0.5% aqueous liquid. (For example, some people can be allergic to permethrin.) You can buy both products at the pharmacy. Get a recipe. They are easy to apply and work well in general, if properly used. Apply the same treatment seven days after the first application. This will ensure that all mites are killed
